I'm in western Massachusetts visiting my friend Melanie at her beautiful home in the Berkshires. I do finally understand all of the "leaf-peeping" that happens up here. It is beautiful. This is a panorama of her back yard. Right after I finished processing this, the horses were let loose to run down there in the paddocks. There is frost on the grass and Melanie and I plan on hiking part of Mt. Greylock today. Then, sadly, it is time for me to go home. Tomorrow is a holiday. Yay! but it is already overbooked with all the things I WANT to do. Never mind what I need to do, include blog posts.
